Hall Projects and Updates
All funds raised help us to maintain and improve the hall. Recent events such as the Resolis Christmas Dance and Resolis Burns Lunch helped to raise enough funds to update our crockery! Super for the annual events like the Burns Lunch but also catering events like weddings. The original crockery set has not gone far! Resolis Primary are the proud owners and enjoy the blue and yellow immensely being their school colours.
We successfully secured grant funding to replace the roof over the extension and a new roof has been put in place by Wyvis Roofing. A huge thank you to the Resolis Community Council for all of their support with this, a special thank you to our regular users for their letters of support and of course a massive thank you to Wyvis Roofing for doing such a good job!
We are very grateful to the Resolis Community Council who donated £1000 to the hall towards its hot water works. The hall now has instant hot water and a new hot water tank with double immersions meaning instant hot water boost whenever needed. A massive improvement to the hall. Thank you!
We are working towards making the hall more energy efficient, ensuring accessibilty for all, improving the sports facilities. We welcome any suggestions to be added to our 'wish list' from all users of the hall to help make it the best experience for all.
Resolis Memorial Hall Community Centre is committed to advancing the Scottish Government Fair Work First Policy and the criteria as set out within the Fair Work First guidance document. We confirm that we pay our staff the Real Living Wage and/or will do so if we employ people in the future. We make every effort to ensure that our suppliers/contractors are offered the same Real Living Wage rate when procuring goods or services. We also confirm that we offer our staff and/or volunteers an Effective Workers Voice channel within the workplace.
